Pumpkin Spice Season with Hurraw

Pumpkin season is officially here — and if you’re anything like us, that means cozy sweaters, crunchy leaves, and pumpkin-spiced everything. So when we found out that Hurraw released a brand-new Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm, we knew we had to share it with all our retailers right away.

If you already carry Hurraw, you know why customers love it: clean, vegan ingredients, cold-pressed oils, beautifully smooth texture… basically everything you want in a natural lip balm. But this flavour? It’s fall in a tube.
Rich pumpkin, warm cinnamon, a hint of ginger and nutmeg — truly a perfectly spiced, not-too-sweet blend. Think pumpkin pie, but for your lips.

We couldn’t resist pairing Hurraw’s newest seasonal balm with a beloved family classic. Every year, without fail, the Hardy family’s Pumpkin Chiffon Pie makes its appearance at Thanksgiving AND Christmas — airy, creamy, gently spiced, and honestly one of the best fall desserts ever.

Since both the lip balm and the pie share that cozy, nostalgic pumpkin-spice magic, we thought: why not share the recipe with our wholesale community? Consider it a little seasonal treat from our family to yours.


🎃 Hardy Family Pumpkin Chiffon Pie Recipe 

Light, fluffy, and impossibly delicious — a perfect fall dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar (divided)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 1/2 tsp ginger

  • 1/8 tsp cloves

  • 2 cups canned pumpkin

  • 2/3 cup milk

  • 3 eggs, separated

  • 1/4 cup cold water

  • 1 tbsp gelatin (1.5 packets)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar, pumpkin, milk, and all spices. Heat gently.

  2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks, then add them to the warm mixture once it’s heated.

  3. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens.

  4. Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Add gelatin to the hot pumpkin mixture and stir to dissolve.

  5. Let the mixture cool completely.

  6. Beat egg whites with the remaining 1/2 cup sugar until stiff peaks form.

  7. Gently fold egg whites into the cooled pumpkin mixture.

  8. Pour into a baked pie shell and chill until set.

Light, fluffy, classic.
